Norris Center

Norris is a nonprofit organization offering services to children and families throughout Wisconsin since 1917.  As the service needs for children and family has changed over the years, we have forwarded our practice to meet these needs, allowing us to remain a sustainable resource for the community.

Norris operates a residential treatment facility for boys between the ages of 12-17.  Our campus is almost 900 acres of treatment, educational and recreational space that provides a calm environment for youth and families to heal and grow with the goal of family reunification.  Educational services are provided through Norris Academy in the Norris School District.  The Norris Academy is a student-centric educational delivery model that leverages educational, behavioral health and community resources to provide an integrated service for learners and families.

Norris also holds a Child Placing Agency license with the state of Wisconsin and operates a Therapeutic Foster Care program.  We license, train and support foster parents across the state to care for children with complex needs, and provide treatment services to children placed in our licensed homes.

We are a connection that gives children and families the safety to tell and understand their story, the impact it has and gives them hope that the possibilities for the future are endless.
