2023 Tax Payments

Welcome to the Village of Vernon's Treasurer's Office!

The Treasurer is a part-time, appointed position.  As Treasurer, I work directly with the Clerk/Administrator in reconciling the financial activity of the village: i.e. accounts payable, accounts receivable along with the tax collection process. I also work closely with the Village President and Village Board along with the other deputies of the village.

Property Tax Information
2023 taxes are being collected at Citizens Bank of Mukwonago, Vernon Branch (W236S7050 Big Bend Dr.) by Kwik Trip. When paying there, please bring your entire bill with you so they can stamp it paid. Tax collection will occur during normal business hours.
You may also pay by mail with the envelope that is sent with the tax bill. The envelope is addressed to be sent directly to Citizens Bank. In the envelope include the bottom portion of the tax bill and on that write your phone number so if there is any issues, they can contact you. Also include your payment. If you would like a receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope and you will be sent a receipt.
You can also pay online through the Village's website but there is a convenance fee of 2.39%.

Second Installment Payments or Late Tax Payments:

All second installments of Property Taxes are due by July 31, 2024 to:

Hours of Operation:  8:00am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday

Dropbox Hours:  A dropbox located on the east side of the administration building, across from Door 35, facing Pewaukee Road.  Any tax deposited in the box by 7:30 a.m. will be dated for the previous day.
